This Scholarship
Fund has been set up in the name of James Coleman.
The Guitar Summit is held each summer near North Hatley, Quebec. As many of you know James Coleman
was a guitarist from North Hatley who studied at St. Francis Xavier University and died several years ago in a tragic car
accident. A facebook group has been set up starting a scholarship fund to send a St.FX guitar student to the Guitar Summit each year. This year former
St.F-X guitar instructor, Rod Ellias will be among the instructors at the summit, along with Steve Groves, Jon Damian and
Jake Langley.

In 2009 $1085.00
was donated to the James Coleman scholarship fund.
The scholarship was awarded to a young and talented guitarist
from Nova Scotia named Kevin Murrell
In 2010 we hope to continue to help keep the
name of James Coleman alive
by
offering a similar scholarship to another worthy guitar student from Nova Scotia

as little or as much as you can afford to offer. Please don't feel that there is an amount too small.
